Stiftinga Rådet for folkemusikk og folkedans (Rff), The Foundation the Norwegian Council for Traditional Music and Dance is an independent institution organised as a foundation. The foundation is located in Trondheim.
An expert council established in 1972 gave the foundation its name.
The Rff-sentret - The Norwegian Centre for Traditional Music and Dance is the executive body of the Council and an institution mainly funded by the Ministry of Culture.
The expert council and the Rff-sentret was made a public foundation 15. of June 1992 by the Councils decision.
The foundation is now governed by a separate board. It comprises the expert coordinating body, the Council which has the Meeting of Representatives as its general assembly.
The foundation also comprises an executive body, the Rff-sentret.
